The Research in Ireland Barometer 2026 is a national project designed to understand how people across Ireland experience research in their everyday lives. Building on previous work, the 2026 Barometer introduces a more qualitative, community‑engaged approach that captures lived experience and broadens participation. The 2026 Barometer expands beyond national statistics to include innovative, community‑based focus groups and deeper qualitative engagement. This approach helps capture the lived experiences of people whose voices are not always represented in traditional surveys.

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Research in Ireland Barometer 2026 Prize Draw

  • Entry to the prize draw is optional and is not required to participate in the survey.
  • Five winners will each receive a €100 One4All voucher.
  • Participants must be aged 16 years or over and resident in Ireland.
  • To enter the draw, participants must opt in and provide a valid email address.
  • Email addresses provided for the prize draw will be stored separately from survey responses and will not be linked to survey answers.
  • One entry per person.
  • The prize draw will close when the survey closes on 30th September 2026.
  • Winners will be selected at random and contacted by email.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, Research Ireland reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  • No cash alternative is available.
  • Research Ireland’s decision regarding the prize draw is final.
