Project Summary
The project will deliver 60 workshops in 5 different STEM related areas (Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, Electronics and Microscopy ) to 12 separate primary school classes, starting when the children are in 4th class and continuing when they move into 5th class. The schools where the projects will take place are local to the Technological University Dublin City Campus. They are all DEIS schools apart from one. It is expected that teachers will also upskill in the workshops and be in a position to deliver these workshops with support from TU Dublin once funding has ceased. The project with engage with both male and female pupils from a wide background of ethnicities.
