Persistent food poverty and malnutrition in Uganda remain critical public health issues, compounded by fragmented and underutilised digital health systems that limit timely, coordinated, and evidence-based responses across the food and nutrition landscape.

An Implementation Framework to:

provide a structured, context-driven approach to integrating Digital Health Systems (DHSs) for Food Security and Nutrition (FS&N) in Uganda.

prioritise interoperability with existing platforms like eCHIS, community-level data.

ensure government-led sustainability by capturing lessons and embedding phased implementation, co-design, and stakeholder alignment

align with the NASSS framework (addressing the complexity of malnutrition), building on existing technologies like eCHIS, and prioritise co-design with end-users.

anticipate adoption challenges and therefore support capacity-building and align with national systems.

incorporate a phased and adaptive approach to enable long-term sustainability, scalability and system integration.
